Edits after AACOMAS verification

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Hey, does anyone have any experience with editing your ECs after AACOMAS has verified your application?

I made an estimate on my hours in order to save it and had intended to return to it. However, I totally forgot about it and am trying to correct it before applications are sent out.
Yeah no you can't do this. No edits can be made except contact and biographical info, your letter writers, future MCAT scores and updated coursework.

Once submitted, you cannot edit these entries.

If your estimations are correct then I see no problem.

I estimated my times, its not like you can be absolutely accurate with the times like a time sheet.

Yeah. I understand that, but I entered the time for the MONTH as opposed for the WEEK. :/
Again, there is pretty much nothing you can do except send updates to the schools directly. AACOMAS will not let you edit your information after you have submitted.

Welllllllllll, there is really not much you can do. Are the total hours the same-ish?
If they bring it up, clarify. If not, again, you can't change anything now. If they contact your references, they can clarify too.

I know week versus a month are different. But sometimes you put in more or less hours in some weeks more than others. As Premed club president, I put in 2 hours a week. But if there was an event, I would spend 8 hours in prepping. Other weeks were dead. I guess I don't know what the experience was, but you get what I am saying right?

If this helps, this is just details. If you can't edit it, accept the error, and address it when it comes up, if ever. There is no point in feeling anxious about it. If the school has questions, they will ask.

Hope this helps.

I want to help but I don't know what to say to make you feel better.

Like I said, if they think your're suspicious they will contact your references. Your references can vouch for your time.

How big is the error? What did you do and what is the time differences? You know 10 hours versus 60 hours is a big difference. But 2000 versus 2050 is the same numerical difference but to me, not a significant error.

Haha. It's just like that. It's supposed to be 10 hours each month, but I put 10 hours each week.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

That was a larger difference than I thought. Sorry I had you tell me like 3 times before I got it. Lol that's not an estimation, that's just an error.

Yeah, I would email the schools. Copy paste action.

Haha, my bad. <3
