If a school has EDP, during the EDP period do basically only these applicants get consideration or are there few enough of these applicants so that this makes little difference? I was wondering because I am still waiting to hear from a few schools I was complete at a long time ago, all of which have EDP, and am wondering if perhaps my file hasn't even been looked at yet(perhaps at the bottom of a huge pile cos it got there so early).

I know that I am not the only one playing the waiting game, but I was done really early and am at the point where I hardely care if they interview me, I just want to know one way or another and be done with it.

It is very possible that these schools are just now starting to look at regular decision applicants. The deadline for EDP is Oct. 15th. I know that KU (where I got in EDP) doesn't even look at regular decision applicants until after EDP. Plus, right now schools have all the august MCAT scores to review. So they're busy.
