Hey guys!

I know that the last two math destroyer tests are harder than the rest. I started doing test 11 timed, and I couldn't solve the first 3 questions so I stopped the clock. My DAT is in a week 🙁 and I don't want my confidence ruined by these tests (it's already a little shaky) . Would it be disadvantageous to skip the last 11 & 12 and just redo 1-10 and make sure I have the basics down? I doubt I'll be able to get the really hard ones on the test day with the time constraint anyways...But then again, the DAT may be at that difficulty level too.

PLEASE any inputs would be appreciated. Especially if you've taken the DAT

dont worry about timing urself on those last 2 tests, but go thru the problems and definitely know that P-value stuff! It cant hurt to at least try to figure out how to do the harder problems...after all they might show up on ur DAT-

dont get discouraged by them though- i couldnt understand/complete many problems in those last 2 sections at first, but i toughed it out and worked thru most of em, and im happy i did 😉

But sleep easy- if ur good with tests 1-10, good things will happen for u on test day- good luck

If you are good to go up to the 11th and 12th test, you're going to do brilliantly!

Keep it up and rock it out!

That is what I did. I thought 11 and 12 were way too hard. But on my real exam, I definitely had some 3-4 tough word problems that matches well with the difficulty of 11 and 12. So I suggest do them - you don't have to time them, but I guess just know how to do those problems too in general.

Thanks for the encouragement guys! I tried to go over all the p value questions in Test 12 and they started talking about null hypothesis. So I had to youtube it, and I still don't understand. I guess I'll have to take the hit on those questions. On a better note, I'm starting to understand everything so much clearer a second time through the earlier tests.

I don't know if this is normal but I get random waves of nauseousness throughout the day. (Not anxiety attacks but just a really icky feeling of nervousness)

I'm soooo close to being done

If the p-value is smaller than the significance level (1% or 5% ) then you reject the null hypothesis. Hope this helps
Good luck to you

And if there are degrees of freedom (df) then you calculate it by n-1 = df, then check your p-value on the chart. Then do what NewBee said below..
