Anyone taken the Kaplan MCAT course? I'm considering taking it but am very unsure. I haven't studied at all yet nor taken organic II and scored a 29 on a practice but would really like to get a 35+ by the time the test comes around. I know that increase of 6 points is going to be very difficult but im optimistic since I took the practice cold. Anyone have any success stories through kaplan? pros? cons? anything is appreciated as this is quite the expensive investment.

What did you use as your practice test? As long as it wasn't AAMC 3R, an increase of 6 points is well within what is expected.

whats wrong with AAMC 3R?
Nothing wrong with it - it's just one of the easier AAMC tests.

To the OP - check out the sticky about prep courses at the top of the forum. There is a link to reviews of the Kaplan course. Whether or not you will do better with a prep course depends a lot on your learning style. Do you need to go to lectures to learn material or do you do most of your learning by reading books and doing problems on your own?
