Do they notify you if you move from waitlist to the favorably reviewed pile or is it just something that they keep to themselves? I emailed and wrote a letter two weeks ago, and am wondering if i may have been moved up to favorably reviewed from the good ole regular waitlist?

from what ive heard, they will notify you that you have been moved up from the alternate list to the favorable reviewed. i think there are people who start off on the favorably reviewed list as well, for example people who interviewed much later in the year, etc. but im not sure about this, but i know its possible to move from the waitlist to the favorably reviewed, and that they tell you when this happens and ask if you are still interested at that point. best of luck.

Just gave them a call: THERE HAS BEEN NO WAITLIST MOVEMENT.

So us waitlisters need to brace for the fact that we may not get off the waitlist at all. They are still giving the favorably reviewed guys/girls their spots first.

this sucks. for some reason, it sounds like at every school there has been less movement off the waitlist than normal. does anyone have any thoughts on why???

I just called the admissions office and they said YES, people have been accepted off the waitlist although it probably won't start 'til AUGUST this yr. 🙁

i have the same exact problem. my school starts on august 1st and all the other schools im waitlisted at dont start till late/end of august, which means everyone else on the waitlist has a better shot than me and you. and i didnt even know you are withdrawn from all your waitlist schools once you attend an orientation until a couple of weeks ago. just another shady part of this entire horendous application process.

hey all, i called einstein and it seems that they arent even close to the waitlist...... 😡 They said they event havent finished accepting those who are on the favorably reviewed folder so all of us in the waitlist category arent looking good... Just wanted to let everyone know... If you hear anything please post... i am going nuts here.

i called the admissions office today and said I was on the waitlist. I told the woman that I'm currently holding an acceptance at another school that starts in less than a month, and waiting on Einstein. So she says that she thinks that is a "good idea to hold on to another acceptance"... (Thanks! real helpful advice)

so it doesn't sound good for the WL people, only a few have gotten off of it in past years
