Has anyone heard about a decision post-interview from Einstein lately?
I e-mailed Maria Alamo to get clarification on when I might hear from them (I interviewed there in October), and she said that even though files have already been reviewed by the committee that no letters have gone out. She told me to expect to hear in January. I don't know if that applies to everyone or if it's dependent on interview date.
is anyone still waiting for hopkins and/or washu?
I submitted in august and nothing yet. I think i at least deserve a rejection letter.
I can't recall where I read it or heard it, but I thought Einstein sends a bunch of letters "on or around January 15th."
So...we should be hearing something soon.
I also remember reading that they invite some candidates for a second interview. I sure hope that I am not one of them, this interview season has wiped out my bank account and eaten up all my vacation time!
- Hi Thunderstorm
I interviewd with you and was wondering how long it took Maria to get back to you. Also, from that point how long was it before you got you acceptance letter.
I'm starting to get tired of waiting, and I also emailed Maria 2 days ago.
Congratz on your acceptance btw!
I e-mailed her on 12/12 and she wrote back that same afternoon. I got my acceptance letter on 12/23. I don't know if they sensed the panic in my e-mail and decided to take pity on me, or if they had planned to mail out some letters anyway.
