From what I've read recently, the MCAT BS section has changed to become more conceptual and similar to the VR section (more emphasis on critical thinking and interpretation). For those of you who took the MCAT in the past few months, is the EK Bio 1001 book worth my time, given its focus on facts rather than passage inference? If I have the BR Bio book, should I even use the 1001 book?

Also, for those who took the 8 AM 6/16 (with a brutal, conceptually focused PS Section)- did EK 1001 help at all?

Thanks!

The 1001 Questions are such crap...I didnt get the bio one but I got the orgo, inorganic and physics ones. Just use TBR and go over all your mistakes on every passage and you'll rape.
