i realized that while the EK 1001 bio book contains mostly MCAT-style passages, the rest of the sciences dont contain any passages. they are all discrete questions. these are still valuable, i know, but i wonder where i can get passage-based questions?

i heard a lot of good things about berkeley review series on this forum, but it seems that all berkeley review books are sold out on amazon.

any suggestions?

On the MCAT, most of the "passage-based" questions AREN'T even passage based...you can answer them without even reading the passages. EK 1001 series are a VERY good for learning basic and advanced topics you'll need to do well. I increased my science sections by 2-3 points from EK 1001 series. I wouldn't worry so much about getting passage experience - however if you want to see some really hard science passages I would go through the Kaplan full lengths. Those will really prepare you.

i see. i've seen/done real MCAT passages, and it is true that many are just standalone questions that can be answered without info from the passage. it's just that i've been reading about the importance of "passages and passages" over and over on this forum...

Wait till you get to Bio 😛 most of the questions strongly relate to the passage. As for PS, you still need to read the passage to get the values/information for the questions (but I guess not as much as for Bio).

Have you tried ordering TBR's book from their site? or try buying them from the sales forum on this site?
