Hi I was wondering if the 101 EK passages are MORE difficult or LESS difficult or about the SAME as the AAMC verbal.

Right now I'm sitting around a VR average of 9(at least when it comes to EK), and would love to get up to a 10 or 11. Does anyone have any suggestions? I haven't really done much AAMC stuff yet. Kaplan is so detail based I find it indicative of nothing. Any suggestions people have on how to really minimize error? There are tricky ones let me tell you. I'm just hoping to minimize that.

i get 11s on EK 101
but i get lower on the practice AAMC
ive been told that
EK 101's passages are easier while the questions are harder
for AAMC, passages are harder and the qeustions are easier.
hope this helped.

im still practicing
and my test is tomorrow 😀

That sounds pretty accurate from my experience. I felt that between Kaplan, EK and AAMC

Kaplan - Hardest Passages - Easiest Questions
AAMC - Passages in between other 2 - Questions in between other 2
EK - Easiest Passages / Hardest Questions

Take this for whatever its worth...

I got 10's on literally every EK 101 passage (1-9) I did. And I got an 11 on literally every AAMC passage I did (3-10).

They seemed nearly identical in style with EK seeming to be a bit more vague and having more global questions.
