Which of the following is a possible application of an electrochemical cell?
I. A voltage source
II. A pH meter
III. A device for disolving a gold bar and electroplating the ions onto a nickel bar.
From what I understand, an electrochemical cell can refer to both a 'galvanic' cell and an 'electrolytic' cell (see pg 120 EK inorganic chem)
So shouldn't the answer be I, II, and III?
