An object dropped from a height of 13 m strikes the ground at 16 m/s. In order for the object to strike the ground at 32 m/s, it must be dropped from:

A. 18m
B. 26m
C. 39m
D 52m

Answer is D according to EK.

V^2 = Vi^2 + 2ah

V^2 is proportional to height.

It makes sense mathematically, but doesn't this seem odd? Shouldn't it be dropped at 1.4h?
