What are some opinions on the quality of EK's MCAT Audio Osmosis??? is it a useful tool for solidifying concepts and worth the time to listen? has anyone used it for prepping for the new MCAT and was it applicable? (obviously excluding biochem/psych/socio).... my weak areas are chem/phys and I recently pushed my test date until July 22nd, so trying to utilize all tools available without wasting time.

Thanks!!

It has some mistakes on it. And it is designed for the old mcat. I find it not helpful.

Flash cards would be better in my opinion.

Don't waste your time. Use Khan Academy and take practice tests. Far more useful.

yeah I'm using Kaplan 7 book set w/ flashcards, AAMC QBanks/Section Banks, new AAMC flashcards, TPR flashcards, Khan academy, EK exams 1-4, AAMC sample and scored exam... but I've been getting what I consider to be wrecked by the EK exams and since I have a 1 hour round trip drive m-f to my summer class I was thinking of using audio osmosis as a resource while driving... any other audio sources that exist?

You're supposed to treat it like a class and read ahead and then listen. I liked it all for one pass. After that, it becomes less useful. Except biology. I listened to that in my car until my ears bled and it really helped.

Edit: If you're driving that much, then I'd do it if you can find it for less than 100 bucks.
