In the solution for this question, it's stated:
"This question uses the equation: v = (lambda)(f). In the passage, the bat hears sound best at a frequency of 83 kHz. "v" is the speed of sound, 340 m/s.
340 m/s = (lambda) (83x10^3 Hz) --> Lambda = 2m.
Maybe i'm burning out but last I checked 340 m/s divided by 83x10&3 Hz is 4x10^-3 m...
