I'm not understanding the reasoning for D over B. Doesn't B answer the question asked? My reasoning is that B shows that Kettlewell's experiments led to an incorrect expected geographical distribution and thus there is a discrepancy since the geographic distribution was wrong. Since birds see differently, Kettlewell's whole experiment is backwards which explains why dark moths were found when they weren't expected.
