First AID covers EKGs (pages 224-225 in the 2006 version), so that's reason enough for me to believe that they're fair game for the USMLE.

Actually even the 2004 editions has a couple of pages devoted to EKG which includes tracings of Atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, AV Blocks and Ventricular Fibrillation. So atleast these EKG, have to be a must know! Just my $0.02.

How much EKG stuff do we need to know for step 1? I haven't seen any practice questions (Kaplan or World) with EKG interpretation? Thanks.
