Hi everyone!

Can you guys please help me...when they say "the committee strongly recommends" does that mean it is mandatory? I know science courses such as Biology, Chem, Ochem are required but what do you guys think about this.

"elective courses
Social Sciences. Three years (18 semester hours). The committee strongly recommends that the applicant's curriculum include courses in psychology, humanities, sociology or anthropology, and economics."

Does it mean I have to have 3 full courses in those subjects?

Thanks!

if you are still in school, i wont worry about that.
since if they ask, u can say u will take those classes later on.

for most school, the general education requirement has at least 3 years of these elective courses.

r u applying in ur second year?

I am done with school and currently I am taking my last required science course (Orgo part 2). But I don't have 3 full courses of three different subject....I have three full course in one subject. So I was just wondering if electives are a must before you enrol in Dental School. I know that the required science courses must be all completed before your enter first year...not so sure for electives and how necessary they are!!

thanks for you help.
