Hi:
I read on this forum that someone in the same position as I am, transferring from urology or some other surgical subspecialty into anesthesia, did elective during prelim year, how do you go about doing that?
My residency program is great for both uro and anesthesia, how do I schmooze the PD for anesthesia and beg for a CA-1 position?
Just how competitive is anesthesia these day, people have been very encouraging answering my last post, but I saw some people post their board scores that are 260s, my step 1 was 230, step 2 was 203 (already matched, didn't think I was going to change my mind 1 yr later!!). I did a year of research in uro, no publications, great LORs.
