I am planning an elective in maxfacs in the UK for the end of the year. Would love to hear from anyone medical or dental who have worked in the maxfacs units in Belfast (Ulster Hospital) or Glasgow. I'm interested in trauma, cancer and a bit of cranofacial/distraction. If you have any experiences or feedback re. the bosses/consultants/patient base/case load/any general tips, I would be really grateful!
