Excellent question. I'd love to hear some feedback as well.

I've read/heard that Rheum and Rads (Neurorads) are good choices.

If u search the old posts, this has been discussed in the past.
But, yes rheum and rads are good. Also doing a ophtho 1-3 months before sstarting ophtho would be beneficial. Other than that, do as many relaxing electives you can!

i'm doing radiology, neurology, ophtho, pathology, and wellness (essentially a month off)

i thought doing the ophtho month was so great. i worked in a private practice office (which i didn't really have much exposure to in an academic med school) who taught me so much! i got great practice on doing full refractions myself, using the indirect and with a 78. i can't say i really saw everything he did, but it's a start!

thanks to all of you for your input.
