Eligibility period extension?help?

Hello, I am thinking of the possibility of rescheduling my exam, but my eligibility expires July 31st. I heard that everyone can apply for an extension of their eligibility for another 3 months.

Say I were to apply for this extension. How long does it take? What is the procedure? I only need 2 extra weeks to study max, and I don't want an extra delay of a month or two or I'll burn out.

Please let me know what you know about the eligibility extension!

I rescheduled mine the day before to the next week so I'm pretty sure it doesn't take a long time though I didn't do an extension. I did a cancellation then rescheduled. I figured if you call them, it'll probably be instant as long as you find a testing center which is the hard part.
