A friend of mine, a fourth year who is one of Elsevier's student reps has told me that Elsevier are looking for people to get involved in a research project correlating performance on one of their Step 1 and Step 2 online exams with performance on real Step 1 and Step 2. If you sign up you get free access to USMLE Steps 123 along with free access to online books on StudentConsult.
