Since everyone is done with interview and probably stuck on some 4th years rotation that is boring you to tears...I decided that we should have a little fun. Let's nominate programs/individuals that you thought were the best of best during this whirlwind season of interviewing...Ill start off
Most Aesthetically Pleasing Emergency Department in the Country:
University of Rochester: If I match at this program, forget buying a house, im going to ask the PD if I can move into the ER! That place is gorgeous! It's brand new, and it just seems like it would be an awesome place to work.
Least Painful Interview Day:
University of Illinois at Chicago: I forget exactly what time we had to be there but there were like six interview each one last about 10mins. It was like speed dating! Much better that 4 to 5 30min interviews!!
Program Most Likely To Prepare You For Anything:
SUNY Downstate Brooklyn NY and USC Los Angeles, CA: You go to either of these programs and I guarantee you that you will be more prepared than anyone else in the country to handle anything that walks through the door!
Most Painful Interview Day:
University of South Florida: I had to be there at 7am! It's bad enough that I was dealing with being on Eastern Standard Time as it is. Then you make me read a EKG??? Are you serious??
Anyway, thats all I can think of right now...
