You've got somewhere between a 70-85% chance of matching based on step score. Research is more or less par for the course.

One thing charting outcomes can't quantify is the strength of your SLOE's, which (as I understand it) is basically the most important factor for EM.

So your Step doesn't preclude you from matching. Just focus on grades and get good SLOEs.

See if you can get H and HP from now and on. 235+ step2... Get 2-3 good SLOEs, and your chances will be good.

As long as you apply broadly you should have a good shot at matching somewhere.
