I am a fourth year applying to EM and I was advised to subscribe to a reputable EM journal to get a feeling for the "hot issues". Does anyone have any suggestions?

(Im particularly interested in student rates since interviews will not be cheap 🙂)

... also since I already started a thread, I am interested in overseas medicine and an emphasis in public health. I plan on doing a fellowship with some MPH training but I was wondering if there are any programs that might be geared towards these interests during residency. Any thoughts come to mind?

If you join ACEP you get Annals of Emergency Medicine and EM Resident.

You could also save a few bucks and just read stuff online...
