i dont think so,but whats the harm in trying.
I have been trying to call them and nobody is taking the calls!

u can mail or call thm. its not going to make anydifference. but sometimes following up is important. but dont call up so often tht they get irritated.

i didnt get my interview call frm ucsf , coz they said tht my official ndb scores and toefl had not reached thm on time. i had sent all this long b4 the deadline. i got the interview call after a lot of struggle with the admistration.
but hey i got accepted to ucsf. so keep following up ur application status
