Emailing about acceptance/rejection status?

Is it ok to email a school to ask if you've been accepted to their program if they said they'd get back to you in two weeks but it' s close to that and still no news of whether you've been accepted or rejected? Also, how would that email be written (in what format)?

My recommendation would be to call the school's admissions directly. Just sound professional and curious and ask them if a decision has been made yet.

You can just email, that's what I did. Just be professional in your email and thank them for taking the time to review your app/consideration.
