Emailing schools

Hey @pinkpanda23

There's a spot for that in the application. Since you already took it, put in your marks. Then click add more scores. Check mark that you are taking the OAT and indicate the test date (estimated date). When schools see that, they automatically put you off to the side until they receive your new scores. They then re-look at your application, and will move forward with the next step.

My application has gone under review at most of the schools i applied to but because i also had to retest, they emailed me saying all they are waiting on is my new scores and i can then be considered. In my case, because i included that i would be retesting on my scores section, they understood to wait on me.

Although, if you didn't do that and already sent it, you can't go back and add it...i assume that emailing them or calling them would be fine since you don't want them to dismiss you completely before you even had the chance to retest.

Also keep in mind, the deadline on the school is also the last day you can sit for the OAT for that school. Or at least that's how i understood it. In your email, check with that school to make sure.

Good luck on your retest!
