Hi everyone,
I am entering a US medical school this coming fall, and I'm cleaning up some of my inboxes before school starts. I came across some emails I had sent to the admissions office of the school I am entering. These were sent before I ever submitted an application there, but unfortunately I've realized that I was very rude and unprofessional. I must not have been thinking before I sent those.
Just curious if you've ever heard of the office clerks/staff/assistants crosschecking emails from their inbox with current students of the program as part of their ongoing background checks or what not. Of course the staff are very busy, receive many emails in the inbox (on top of their many other important roles) and what not, but the thought has been on my mind a bit.
I know this is kind of a stupid thread but just curious. Regardless, this is a good reminder for me to be mindful of my actions and be respectful with everyone I meet. Should have been common sense but I must have not been thinking 🙂
