embryology,histology and pathology review books

Just started embryology this module...my instructor wrote the text book (Sadler) but i find it to be a pain to read mostly because concepts seem to be disjointed...looking for a good book for step 1...

also looking for a good histology book since the book that was suggested seems to be too deep...

looking for these books to help supplement my material from class as well as supplement FIRST AID...thanks

for CLASS, ross i sa good text....easy to follow, good pics, etc.

For Embryology for Step 1 I used High Yield which I liked a lot. Embryo isn't hit very hard on Step 1, but understanding it can help you with anatomy.

Most people seem to like Wheater's Histology for a text. If you want something "lighter" you might want to look at review books, High Yield, etc . There are also many online Histo resources for free. Myself and other SDNer's have posted links-- you can do a search. Or just do a google search 🙂
