Are you happy with your career choice of becoming a PA?
Do you wish you became a MD/DO instead?
I might be taking RN to PA approach, but still in college.
Do you find it satisfying?
How are salaries in academics? Raises?
Are you on call much?
How many hours a week do PAs in Ortho and EM usually work?
Many nights and weekends?
PS: The reason I'm doing the RN to PA approach is because I can get my clinical hours while still in school for the PA program, as well as if I ever wanted to become a CRNA the option will be there. I would go MD/DO if I had it in me, but in a 40k household with three kids and one parent, I'm very eager to get out and start my own life and own family (and have time for them!).
