Does anyone know how good the neurosurgery programs at these two schools are?

Thanks

Emory seems to have a decent reputation.

Minnesota is not highly regarded when compared with other midwest programs like Iowa, Mayo, Nebraska, and Wisconsin.

I wasn't aware Nebraska was considered a stronger midwest program. Would you consider them more academic or clinically oriented? Do they have one particular strong field (vascular/skull base, spine, functional)? Any other info would be helpful.
Thanks in advance.

Don't know much about Nebraska; just that is has been mentioned as a decent midwest program.

Nebraska is a very solid general neurosurgery clinical program. I would say that its strongest area is spine, but people come out very comfortable with general neurosurgical issues. They have a new chairman from Iowa who is well regarded in the functional neurosurgery community.
