Emory externship, please help...

Hello. I may be doing a psych externship at Emory and wanted to know if any Emory students or past externshipees have any advice on which rotations were the best. There are about 10+ to choose from. Please help....

What are the options? I'm an Emory MS4.

I did the VA inpatient for psych and really enjoyed it. Good pathology and good variety in pts.

For other options, depends on what they are. Grady Crisis Stabilization Unit is supposed to be a great experience. Grady Wards is so so. Crawford Long is supposed to be chill, I don't know if you'd get any good experience (or meet people who will help with residency stuff).
Peds Psych is not so exciting.

Emory Psych consults and Wards are both supposed to be pretty good.

when i was a student at emory, i did my psych rotation in dekalb county. it was somewhat different from the other sites, as it felt more connected to the community, but also there was an opportunity to deal much more with drug addiction.
