I'm thinking of applying to Emory (as well as GWU, WSSU, and Georgia Health Sciences... trying to keep options open) but I'm wondering if anyone else has applied and how I stack up. Unfortunately, after my 2 A's this semester, my cum. GPA will only go up to about a 3.15 or so, but my pre req for Emory is a 4.0. I know cumulative weighs heavier, but does my pre req GPA help pull some weight? My GRE is a 303 and I have 450 volunteer hours. Has anyone else applied and what are your stats if you don't mind posting? Thanks for your help and responses!

I applied to Emory. I have a 3.4 cum and a 3.8 prereq. My GRE was 315. I haven't done the supplemental yet so I haven't heard from them.

The weird thing about Emory is they are considered a top school but have the lowest GPA and prereq requirements. Maybe that means they really look at personality and like to be able to consider a diverse set of candidates? I say go for it. You never know what will happen
