Emory

I'm fairly certain rejections haven't gone out yet. Emory did away with their rolling deadline this year (supposedly, but from what I've read some people had interviews before Feb. 1?) so they are probably still reviewing apps.
I'm attending the interview session on Friday and am super excited. I interviewed last year (and was wait listed) and absolutely fell in love with the program. Currently I have a deposit down at USC but if I get into Emory I'm going to have a very tough decision to make.
Lucky- the cost is definitely overwhelming! When did you interview and have you received a final decision from the committee yet?

I interviewed on 2/8. I received my acceptance email one week later. The cost is overwhelming, but I felt extremely comfortable with the faculty and facilities. Those are very important for me which why I have put down a deposit there. I am still waiting on a few more schools, but I am confident I will end up at Emory!
How'd the interview go? Any advice for those of us getting ready to interview? Thanks and congrats on your acceptance
Gator- when is your interview?
I'm attending the interview session tomorrow (march8) as well. I haven't participated in any group interviews yet. Getting nervous but I am looking forward to seeing the program.

I got my acceptance letter via e-mail yesterday. Anyone else?
I also received my acceptance e-mail. So relieved.
Just got an interview for the 22nd or 29th! I'm going to attend on the 29th! What was the interviewing process like?
Congrats on the interview... I'm a first year at Emory's program and last year the day was very long but I felt like I came away from the interview experience with a solid feel about the values, intensity, and philosophies of the programs.
Like other posters have said, the interview itself is only a very small piece of the day and it is a group interview. The professors don't ask questions to trick you and they are meant to get to know you better. Other activities include an introduction with Dr. Kapasi who is the director of the program, a tour of the facilities (Med School, Center for Rehab Medicine, main campus, etc), a lunch with the current students and faculty, and ample time to get to know the other applicants.
My advice would be to enjoy the day and interact with the professors as much as possible.
Good luck, and let me know if you have any other questions and I'll answer as best I can.
