I’m a total newbie. I had not taken any MCATs b4. After going thro’ the emotional roller coasters with you guys with the scores coming in was the greatest! I had to register for the testdates past the Sept. 07. b/c its all unavailable quote aamc register.

Can I register 4 the first test (sit and try it out) and register for the second test if, I kinda know I probably wouldn’t do well.
Can I register for both test dates at the same time or will I have to wait till my 1st test score is out b4 I can register 4 the 2nd test date? Because I do know the dates for the test seats are snap up really fast. I was late in registering, in the sense that I had tried registering from the AUG. to the SEPT. test dates, since the 17th JUL.
Can I register 4 the next round of testdates in MAY and then SEPT. ?

.awaiting advice...........:scared:
.

I believe you can only register for a single test at a time. Once you take the test, you can register for another. That's what I did.

1) "Sit and try it out" is not a good attitude for the MCAT. First off, ALL your scores are visible to the adcoms, so naturally, someone who's got a 33 on the first try looks a whole lot better than someone who scored a 23, and then had to retake to get a 33. Also, the MCAT is quite demanding on you, and studying for it twice is NOT something you want to do. Just prepare to the best of your abilities and get it over with on your first try.

2) You cannot register for a new test date until 2 days after you have taken the previous test, so it's not possible to register for more than one test date at a time.

Will that mean losing the test dates being snapped up? While waiting for the 1st testscores to come in?

I will try and build up my stomach. So that I can lift up up more than I can eat. 😀 With the advice from the MCAT discussion and threads.

I would NOT just take the MCAT knowing you'll do poorly and without any studying. This is something you plan for, it's not to be taken on a whim. Again do NOT just sit and try it out. The only way that would work is if you voided scores.

is voiding 'bout cancellation of my grades being sent out to schools b4 receiving the test scores? So, not knowing if I actually am getting a good grade, I will just void it? 🙂?)

No offense, but without studying the chances of anyone doing well is extremely small. Besides if you want to know how you'll do why not just take the free AAMC CBT 3?
