Heart rate increases, and you also feel a 'butterflies in stomcah"
I am trying to find information on this, treatment etc

And what causes this "butterflies in stomach" feeling?
🙁

My guess is that it's just the sympathetic stimulation in the GI tract that releases certain endocrine hormones (I can't remember which ones). Gastric motility slows which keeps those substances in the GI tract longer. But I could be wrong.

That what I was thinking also...along with decreased blood flow to the digestive system.

Right ,so more blood to skeletal muscles, less to the GI tract.

What kind of hormones?
So the sympathetic signals cause the hormones to be released which causes these 'butterflies"?
Anything more specific? 🙂

What about other forms of treatments for tacy beside BEta blockers.

Hmmm. Don't remember, but look up emesis. Doesn't that utilize sympathetic and parasympathetic pathways? And wouldn't that make you feel nauseous? That was way too long ago to remember.
