Hey Guys-
I'm doing a pre-lim yr before my residency this yr. Given that I dont have a lot of EM Book/COnference money to play around with, do you guys think it's worth paying $100 or so and joining EMRA? Do you guys get anything out of it? I know you get Annals of EM, but is it worthwhile. Actually, I'm was an SAEM student member and I never really liked their journal that much.

So, 👍 or 👎 on joining EMRA?

I've heard rumor that EMRA and the people who do EM:RAP are working on a special deal for EMRA members in the next couple of months ... 😉

Sorry, what is EM:RAP?

Cheers.

It is an audio lecture series. Monthly compilation of lectures from all over the country narrated/moderated by Mel Herbert from USC. Lots of good information and varying perspectives on patient management. If you have Itunes you can find it in the music store and put it on your ipod or burn CDs. Makes long car trips interesting for you and mind numbingly boring for your spouse (actually, even my wife enjoys it and she is an elementary teacher).

I see. Sounds good. Thanks.
