Okay, so i need a part time job while in college. At the end of this year(my senior year in high school) I'll be certified as an EMT-Basic. I also have the opportunity to do a pharmacy tech program. So I did a little research, and being a pharmacy tech- close to most of my top pick colleges- will earn me close to double then what i would make as an EMT-Basic. I don't want to be a pharmacist though, and im kind of worried what this will look like when I'm applying to med school. Being an EMT-Basic would give me more first hand experience, but not as much money-which will sorely be needed through my undergrad days. So my question is; is it worth getting my Pharmacy Tech program, and should i do that through college solely for the financial aspect. Any advice/opinions would be greatly appreciated.
