I have only taken one course outside of my home university, and that was an EMT course at a local community college. Do I still have to send out a transcript for post-seconday work for that one Pass/Fail course, or can I send a certification?? What did you guys do?

Thanks,
Hristos

Yup. If you took it for credit you have to send in a transcript. Them's the rules.

I did my cert at a hospital, i.e., no transcript just a "successful completion of the DOT and state requirements." Then I sat for the NREMT exam and turned that in for my license.

For AMCAS, I simply added EMT as an experience and described my work on the ambulance. I skipped the whole EMT training thing as a separate EC since it is implied in the license.
