Does your med school have some sort of competency exam/week at the end of MS1 or MS2?

Basically, throughout first and second year we have a "Doctoring" course. It covers clinical skills, EBM, professionalism, etc... At the end of first and second year at Miami we have "competency week" in which we perform a full physical exam on a standardized patient, take a full history, do an EBM search, take the final exam for doctoring... all on different days throughout the week.

I was just curious to see how many other med schools had something similar.

Yeah we had a cumulative final, the NBME later on the same day, and a physical exam final. The hard thing about that week is that 1) it's crammed into one week and 2) you just stop caring so it's hard to study. The night before the cumulative and NBME I just said "screw it" and started playing xbox.
