Am I allowed to finish fellowship on time even if I started a few days late?

I started my cardiology fellowship 22 days late, and want to do Interventional fellowship (already matched, starting date July 1st). Does anyone know if its possible to finish general cardiology fellowship early than designated 3 yr period so that I can start next fellowship on time?
Both my current program and the next program that I will be a part of are ACGME accredited.

Usually the programs can let you do that. You can ask your interventional fellowship program for a delayed date. My general cardiology fellowship got prolonged by 2 weeks and I started my next fellowship in late July.

You should be talking to your program director, not posting a poll on a website
