In which condition will acth level be elevated?

cushing syndrome
cushing disease.
ectopic tumor
addisons disease.

according to me cushings disease n ectopic tumor both r correct. coz an ectopic tumor is not subject to negative feedback with elevated cortisols due to elevated acth.
cushings disease - adnoma/tumor of pitutary/hypothamus. can cause high acth.

pls lemme know...

Your logic for Cushing's dz & ectopic tumor is correct.
Cushing syndrome will NOT have high ACTH.
Addison's dz WILL have high ACTH since the adrenals are not working & the pituitary is trying to get it to secrete. This dz will show hyperpigmentation d/t the excess ACTH while a pituitary deficiency of ACTH will not.

you are right.. i think there is a mistake in the question...
addison, cushing disease, ectopic acth ( small cell carcinoma) will all have high acth..

only the cushing syndrom will have low acth..(due to high cortisol)
