Full time Endocrinologist position at Waterbury Hospital/Alliance Medical Group. Responsible for providing medical and endocrinology services to patients on an inpatient and outpatient basis.
Responsibilities:
•Responsible for the caring of inpatients from admission to discharge with frequent contact with outside MD’s and consult as per hospital policy.
•Provide Endocrinology consultation services and continuity of care to outpatients referred to Alliance Medical Group.
•Attend on the teaching service as needed.
•Participate in appropriate departmental and Hospital and Alliance committees.
•Attend morning report whenever possible.
•Provide general medical care to Waterbury Hospital inpatients when serving as medical attending.
•Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
•Board Certification in Internal Medicine and the subspecialty of Endocrinology.
•Maintenance of active CT medical license.
•Teaching and clinical experience desirable.
•Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills desirable.
