According to Cliffs AP Biology , monocots are characterized as having 1 cotyledon and 1 endosperm. However, it doesn't mention the endosperm in dicots. Since the dicots have 2 cotyledons and cotyledons are formed by digesting endosperm, is it safe to conclude that dicots do not have any endosperms ?

In monocots, the endosperm is separate from the cotyledon, but in dicots, the cotyledons contain the endosperm.
