Curious to what thoughts people (residents, faculty, private prac docs) have on the future of endovascular Neurosurgery?

Seems pretty cool....but a long road (which I don't mind).
Is it starting to get competitive?
Will its demand grow?
Any suggested links to read regarding endovascular neurosurgery?
Feel free to share any thoughts

Thank you all!

It's definitely here to stay. Endovascular coiling of aneurysms in the correct patient can be equal to surgical clipping with lower moribidity. For treatment of things like carotid-cavernous fistulae it is superior. Non-invasive diagnostic vascular imaging (like MR angiography with a 7 Tesla magnet) may soon come close to the more invasive diagnostic cerebral angiography and therefore there may be less demand for the diagnostic angiography in the future. But I think the demand for endovascular therapies will continue to grow (but will likely never replace surgical clipping entirely).
