I just took my first practice test, and by the second half my scores significantly dropped..22 in sciences to 19 in RC to a 17 in QR mainly do to the fact that I was just exhausted. By the time I reached QR I couldn't even comprehend what the question was asking me, I ended up guessing on A LOT and of course I ran out of time.
Obviously "practice makes perfect" but I'm wondering if any of you experienced this problem? It seems to be a mental game that I'm losing🙄

how did you all keep your stamina up for RC and QR?

isn't their a break? maybe an energy drink or gatorade? lets just hope we all have a super pump of adrenaline so that we don't have to deal with that bs. so stupid to have such a long test with so little breaks especially based on the fact that your staring a computer screen and not paper!

haha, I mean, there's a 15 min. break, which is how I made it through the first passage with flying colors, but from the second passage on I tanked

Think the key here is to realize that the hardest part of the exam is done. And this might sound overly sarcastic but seriously, the thought process goes something like...

RC: I have to read words, find words, think about what words would go well with other words. Not bad.

QR: It's the race to the finish. Think of it as just the last stretch and you'll be surprised at how fast you want to plow through all of it, which will also help with your timing.

During my break I ate a tuna sandwich and a vegan sport energy drink and I did the best I ever did on the math section. In addition, I think that regardless of how you say you are going to pretend like you are taking the real DAT, you will not go into "flight or fight" test mode until you are at the Prometric testing center and your future depends on the test. Just keep practice and you will do great!
