Hello All,

Many Neurosurgery Residency programs offer a choice to do either research, grad degree, or clinical fellowship during PGY-4+5. Some programs mentioned clearly as "enfolded fellowship" and other just "fellowship". At first, I thought it was a good choice to save a few extra year to do fellowship after residency, but according what I founded on google (info from 2010s), the enfolded fellowship is not true fellowship (not accredited), while the true accredited fellowship training must be after completing residency. Is it true? Is the enfolded fellowship worth doing? or should spend extra year of post-fellowship? What about what you can do, job position, your earning, and etc. after graduation? Will Will selecting either of the programs affect different result? What about the level of training/curriculum - are both program the same? and If you want to pursue clinical fellowship, which program shoud you choose? Is it good idea to do both? may be same or two subspeciality.

Thank
