Per the AMCAS website:
If you receive an offer of acceptance from more than one school or program, choose the school at which you will enroll by April 30. Then, promptly withdraw your application, by written correspondence, from all other schools or programs that have offered you an acceptance.

I am just curious how they go about enforcing this rule. The AMCAS website lists it as a "recommendation" not a hard and fast rule. I certainly respect the reason for the recommendation, however, one of the schools where I have been accepted has their 2nd Look Day in early May, after the April 30th deadline. I think that attending would give me a better idea of which school I would like to matriculate to, so I would prefer not to narrow down entirely prior to then.

Any thoughts?

you should be the pioneer SDN needs. Don't withdraw from you acceptances and report back to us!
