Engagement Question

I am currently waitlisted or on hold at my top 3 choices. I have sent numerous letters of interest (to all 3 schools) and a letter of intent to my #1 school. I recently got engaged and my fiance has a very good job in the area. I was wondering if I should let these schools know about this new situation and if it could benefit my application at these schools or if they would look down upon it. Thoughts/suggestions? Should I let these schools know or not? Thanks!

My guess is they will be indifferent about the admission but they will probably congratulate you on your engagement if anything.

Was this the school where u sent your letter of intent? I don't think the engagement would necessarily sway their decision either way-- but I don't think adding that in as a side note in correspondence would hurt either.

Just keep being persistent and knocking on those doors. Good luck!
