Hi everyone! I'm a biomedical engineer applying to med school and was wondering if you all knew specific schools that like engineering students. I know I've heard that some don't as well, and if you could name those, that'd be super useful too. Don't want to waste money applying to those schools. Thanks so much!!

This probably isn't the best place for this post. You should go to WAMC forum and post specifics related to you. There are a lot of people over there who are adept at creating strategic school lists. This forum is for deciding between multiple acceptances

I’m sure there’s more but Carle, Western Michigan, and to an extent UIC come to mind

Thank you so much! Sorry I'm new to this forum 🙂

Lol i have personally never heard of a medical school that frowns upon engineering. I honestly don’t think your major should have much bearing on your school list

USC, HMS, Vandy, UIC also have engineering specific tracks. Most schools with strong engineering department are into it though
